Long after your pain is gone, & you want to make a change
I will be here waiting for you, That'll always stay the same.
You won't answer my call or my letter
But without your help, I cannot make it better.
I know we were lost for a while
But those times are over & that makes me smile.
I will not look back to those awful times ever,
I promise to look forward to our future time together.
I hope you find it somewhere in your heart
To forgive me, someday, for our time apart.
I can't wait for that day, when you start to give in
Maybe on that day we can finally become friends.

I have hope on this day, your love will shine for me
In a very bright way, for everyone to see!
