Afternoon: Dah Shield Who Spoken(During Koto) Poem by Cherokee Akan Ewe

Afternoon: Dah Shield Who Spoken(During Koto)

at the age of 7
i learned the true meaning of a shield..
a shield has no societal emotion
a shield is sexless indeed
and see a shield is used by even the most negative person
often you will see the shield in the hands of a female
although i and you will learn
that a shield only enemy and ally is
dah shield
inside and out...
how you rid the enemy
is to keep perfect at all times
no matter the positive costs
glare the brightest
preventing eyes from ever seeing your true inner capabilities
make em pause
thought erased
puddles..
silence..
and only way to perfection
is to never be in the hands of imperfection
ever and never again(echoing) ....
