Age Matters Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Age Matters

Rating: 5.0

“Age matters less”
Close reader friend told on face
Nothing should prevent any person
From writing with simple reason

I was over excited
Te passion was ignited
I ran after honey bee
“Uncle no time, I am busy”

I went to red rose flower
It was shining after fresh shower
“Hello, what a fragrance”!
Please no uncle! I have yet to reach far at once

It was early morning
I thought of cuckoo as she was singing
“Hi! Lovely melody with pleasing voice”
Oh yes, please wait, I have no choice

Everybody was busy and active
Their goal was simple but selective
Yes age and time must match
There should be any delay to catch

It is nice to feel young
But one should not go wrong
Take care that steps are in proper space
Else it may deprive you of any race

Yes there is lot more to smile
Instead making love with dead files
It may speak nothing but dead past
That has disappeared very fast
