Aging Happiness Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Aging Happiness

Rating: 3.5

Striding along pathways made by others, choosing not
to follow their footsteps.
Instead, creating my own, walking where I imagine I
can go.
Traveling alone, yet never lonely, because inside
my memories keep me company.
Finding happiness as I age, always enjoying the
loneliness and silence of peace within as it
balances both sides of my brain with equanimity.
