Aging To Grow Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Aging To Grow

Aging to grow,
More patient and tolerant.
Only makes life to live it,
A blessed experience.
Done to wish wisdom to have,
Came at a much younger age.

When thinking to know all there is,
Proves when aging to grow...
Stupidity and ignorance to admit,
To live and acknowledge this...
Is what old people do.
Yep.

Freely to say.
To whomever listens paying attention.
Knowing aging to have earned,
Any claims made about being wise...
Is not an exaggeration.
Or a stretch of one's imagination.
Since that time taken to do it,
Is what young folks do.
Until that phase begins to fade.
