POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

Cow slaughter is hot topic in India. Anti-slaughter vigilantes are on the prowl. Excessive attention to cows -without really caring for their well being -is counter-productive.
This poem is about the ugly aftermath of anti-slaughter agitation.It is not about eating habits. It is about the horrible treatment of milch animals-cows, buffalos-in urban dairies.
