Aibolit And Sparrow Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky

Aibolit and Sparrow
Tales Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky

I

The evil- evil bad snake
Bitten a young sparrow.
He decided to fly away, but could'n
And wept, and fell on the sand.
(Hurt to the sparrow, hurt!)

And the toothless old woman came to him,
The green eyed laguna.
She took the sparrows by the wing
And lead the patient through the swamp.
(Sorrow the sparrow, sorrow!)

A hedgehog pose out from the window:
- Where are you lead him, green?
- To the doctor, sweet, to the doctor.
- Wait for me, old woman, under a bush,
We are together will bring him!

And all day they go a swamps,
They bring the sparrows in their arms...
Suddenly the night darkness has come,
And it is not visible a bush in the swamp,
(Scary to the sparrow, scary!)

So they, poor, lost the way,
And they can't doctor to find.
- We do not find Aibolit, will not find
We will lost in the darkness without Aibolit.

Suddenly, the firefly come rush from somewhere,
He lit his blue torch:
- You run for me, my friends,
I pity-pity the sick sparrow!

II

And they ran runing
For his light blue
And saw in the distance under a pine tree
The house painted,
And there is sitting on the balcony
The good old doctor.

He bandaging the wing of the daw
And tells to the rabbit the tale.
The gentle elephant meets their at the entrance
And quietly leads to the doctor to the balcony,
But the sick sparrow cries and groans.
He is every minute weaker and weaker,
The death of a sparrow came to his.

And the doctor takes the patient on the arms
And heals him all night long,
And cures, and cures all night until the morning,
And now - look! - hurrah! hurrah! -
The patient is trembled, stir by the wing,
He tweet: chick! chick! - and flutter in the window.

'Thank you, my friend, you was cured me,
Never forget your kindness! '
And there, at the threshold, a miserable ones are a crowd:
The blind ducks and a squirrels legless,
The lean frog with the sick stomach,
The lumpy cuckoo with the damaged wing
And the hares bitten by the wolves.

And the doctor treats their all day until the sunset.
And suddenly the forest animals laughed:
'Again we are healthy and happy! '

And they ran into the woods to play and jumping
And even thanks forgot to say,
Forgot to say goodbye!
