Aint Nobody's Friend Poem by Dorsey Baker

Aint Nobody's Friend

Thunder rumbling in
the sky loud
as I have ever heard
rainfall singing
just like a bird
its a morning
you aint going nowhere
but
back to bed
its the kind of weather
you just don't
want to get out in
too many raindrops fall
too many teardrops shed
that kind of weather
aint nothing nice
that kind of weather
aint nobody's friend!
