Mothers Prayer
She was the one who opened my life's door,
She used to entertain me when I would be feeling bored,
She took care of all my choices,
But in return, I used to disturb her sleeps by making harsh noises.
She always kept me safe from all the dangers,
Never kept me in the hand of any stranger,
No words to plaud her,
But we can say,
"East or West our mothers are the best",
She would always think of our win
Never allowed to play with a pin,
My cries her pain,
From her everything I gained.
From childhood to now she took my care,
Always taught me to be fair,
Greatful to have you here
That's why I am never in any fear
Even if I'm sick, even a slight
You would be for my service day and night
You having on my side, what's the need for any strife
You know what, you're my life......
