'' All Equal, Bar None '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' All Equal, Bar None ''

We're a sensitive lot,
We humankind,
We get easily distraught,
How's it defined?

What's fun to some,
Can cause others hurt,
They see you as dumb,
Extremely curt.

While the other half,
Enjoy what you say,
To them it's a laugh,
There's no affray.

The problem here,
Is how do you know,
If you feel fear,
How will it show.

As our cultures merge,
Sensitivity rules,
As we all diverge,
We invent new tools.

Communities drift apart,
Staying with their own,
This isn't smart,
As history has shown.

Both man and woman,
Be you adult or child,
Every one of us is human,
Let's get reconciled.

Be it colour or creed,
Why do we mind,
As God watches us bleed,
To reality we're blind.

Cast differences to the side,
Together as one,
No more divide,

‘' All Equal Bar None ‘'
