All Hallows Eve Poem by Meriki Raelene ParkinsonFraser

All Hallows Eve

Spring time in Australia,
wattle's fallen from the trees.
Aphrodite tea-trees flower,
welcoming 'all hallows eve'.

Warm and floral essence endear,
as I prepare natures gifts.
On this thinest night of year,
I thank I wish, hope and give.

Greens and herbs from our backyard,
spiced red wine is warm with fire.
A springtime feast indulged with love,
joined by those who've passed tonight.

Alter set with flowers and fruit,
candles north south east and west.
A springtime ode with waning moon,
'all hallows eve', this night is blessed.
