If I can hold on well to that high haven—
To that sweet truth if but for a moment,
Never mind it stands to no test of reason—
Day dreaming and dresst in dappled raiment,
Let me think tall, think big though a bit naïve,
Let my imagination space-time bend,
Let it wisdom's reality transcend,
Is not it delusion, man's all alive?
This dream within a dream, Nature's sole gift
To mankind— mind wandering to escape,
Musing, unyielding world falling in shape—
Let it my struggling spirit uplift.
No one does ever know the truth real
Betwixt twain of dreams, the real and surreal!
