All Of A Sudden

All of a sudden I wished to have done
All the things I dreamed to do
It's never too late if only I was not in jail
Now I seem like a small boy admiring
The things that an elder brother does
And wished if only he was his brother's age
He would play with him and do all the things his brother does
Only if he was his brother's age, or would it matter?

He is in jail now, everything is out of reach
He can't raise a strong hand, nor jump or do anything
All because he's in jail
Free and unshackled but flat like a flat tyre
Usable but useless

All of a sudden he wished to have done
All the things he dreamed to do
For himself, his family and friends
But he can't, he can only wish
And spectate on people doing wonderful things
Like the typical African ragamuffin
He had almost lost grip and slowly slipping into a hellhole
It is not even a trap hole,
It is lidless though he knew he would not come out

He has lost grip of himself and fell into a helpless state
Lost his comedian and singer status
His presence could only be felt by a stench
Everybody has forsaken him like a sinner except his mother
The only trestle that could withstand the stench with vicarious love!
