All Refreshed Poem by Doris Cornago

All Refreshed

Rating: 5.0

Pack your bags, prim for a pose
World is perfumed thorned rose
Beautiful, don't be deceived
Enjoy everything your eyes
Relish and return to me
Revived, all refreshed
Penury pingponged
Before you perish
Bored, beaten
Brain frozen
This is war
Monsters
Galore
but we
Need
Own
Stripe
Strength
Realization
Revocation
Remembrance
Reconnaissance
Render consonance
Recognize substance
Recover self-reliance
Renew strong resistance
What connects disconnects
Our shape, our sap, our zap
Gaping gaps give way to guzzle
Pairs and points are life's puzzle

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is an interval for you to recover those things you thought you've lost but don't get too distracted in a make believe world which can disconnect you from who you are and your own quest. You have your own monsters to kill, bills to pay and commitments to honor.
