For some, the grief
over the loss of
a loved one prevails,
for others a feeling
of gratitude awakens,
and yet others
feel their own
impermanence
more clearly on
a day like today.

But in all of us
who celebrate
All Souls Day,
memories of
people are
awakened who
meant a lot to us.
