Almost Always Gone
i try to stay present
and remain
in this moment.
i try to keep
my thoughts
from
straying.
but
in between
the silent spaces
of my mind,
my heart
aches
and i can't help
but wonder
if being with him
means
being without him.
There is a thin line between loving someone in the present....And still loving them once they are part of your past. I sometimes do not know which one is hardest to do. Well written and thought provoking piece.
