Alone Poem by grant e hollen

Alone

Rating: 4.5

I'm on the couch
I'm on the chair
I walk upstairs
I'm all that's there

I feel alone
Lost in my mind
Rewind the day
Stop on a dime

Remember this
Remember that
I saw her face
I saw her back

I'm crying now
I was crying then
I lost a girl
I lost a friend

I need to eat
Don't want to think
I need to sleep
Don't want to drink

I'll leave it here
Just where I'm at
Wait for pain to leave
Can't imagine that

The pains, sorrows and grief occasioned by lost of a friend indeed well depicted in the poem. A well articulated piece of poetry nicely penned. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
