'Find someone who is compatible to you And what I say you'll find is true.' - A good advice to end the poem with. Are you yourself a lonely person? That's the question that cropped up in my mind after reading the poem.
thanks for your comment and no I am not a lonely person! I am married 53 years with children and grand children. this poem is from hearsay of other people talking and things that I see.
check your third line! ;) some favorite lines: Just one load in the washing machine Just one dish you have to clean. ........i lick my plates 'clean'. if i want two hearts, i'll need two mates, as i have no heart of my own. i just CAN'T HELP wondering what YOUR HOME LIFE is like! to MyPoemList. bri :)
the poem does not apply to me but to others that I have spoken with and things that I see.
Please, either drop 'don't' from the third line, or replace 'no one' by 'any one'. I think, that's what was suggested by poet Bri Edwards in his comment.
