Alone

Rating: 5.0

What do you do, when you're no
longer with the person, you adore?
Many a night, you find yourself,
pacing the floor. Now, you have to
face, being all alone. As you find
yourself waiting, hoping, they will
phone. Should you, be the one, to
break the silence? You're tortured
thinking, is the ball, now in your
court? What if you do and they
don't respond? Perish, the thought!
It's an awful feeling! You're in a
dilemma, as what to do. It would be
so simple, if they would be the one,
to reach out, to you. How do you face,
the days and the long, lonely nights?
I guess it's better this way, after all
those endless fights. Perhaps after
a while, when enough time has gone
by. We'll forgive and forget and be
together, you and I.
