Alone - By Olly Poem by Olly and Molly Tsi

Alone - By Olly

Light shines bright
On crowds unsuspecting
Cheery children play
On grounds of the forgotten
But one child sits
Like many others in the waves
Of overflowing people
While happiness is a custom
Often sought through others
Many cannot perceive
Such a dampened form
While bright smiles
May reflect the sun
And blues of skies
or wholesome joy
dark bleeds
into the hues
a black nothing
can sweep it all away
they stand tall
for all the wrong reasons
even those of various ages
of different demographics
can feel its grip
Few can withstand
The deepest of darks
While others play
One child lays
In his eyes
There is no light
No hope for futures
Brighter than imaginable
All can see
In his eyes
Lay only black
