Already - Poem by Vidula Randunu
Burn me with fire and it is not i who shall be hurt,
for i am full of pain already.
Push me away and it is i not i who shall be pushed,
as i am pushed the furthest away already.
Anger me with words of scathe and it is not i who shall be angered more,
as i am full of anger already.
Prick me with your deadly sting and it is not i who shall die,
for my blood is full of poison already.
Kill me as you will, and it is not i who shall die..as i am dead to you, already.
Kill yourself and it would make no difference, for you are dead to me, already.
