Alternative Epilogue Poem by Ima Ryma

Alternative Epilogue

The great white whale, I'm Moby Dick.
A book was written about me.
Also there's been many a flick
Here's how the tale's ending did be.
Old orn'ry Captain Ahab caught
In his harpoon rope he had tossed,
He needed a lesson be taught,
For me a slight bitter taste cost.
I shook him loose and gulped him in.
My four ton tongue did lash him bad,
Removing from him all his skin,
Till his peg leg was all he had.

Not worth added heartburn no doubt,
Ahab leftover I spit out.
