Have you ever been in love?
When you feel you can touch the sky
Like a wingless eagle soaring high.
All day long, you just can't stop smiling
From the thoughts of pleasant moments
You share with your hearthrob.
At night, life becomes a bed of roses
Where angels fragrance your dreams,
With nightingales humming you a lullaby.
The breeze becomes so mild,
The moon reflects your smile,
The stars metarmorphose into a halo of crown,
Over thee…
It feels like heaven on earth!
Paradise couldn't be more subtle.
Yes, this is how I feel
Ever since I fell in love,
My lover is the most romantic person
I know to exist,
My lover's love for me
Is sweeter than the sweetest honey there is.
We are both crazy in love like we are nuts.
But I'm so doumbfounded,
Cos I didn't deserved to be this loved.
I was the least of all men; I was a pin in the neck
As a recalcitrant, I was worse than the worst,
A chronic ricidivist sinner,
Who cared only about himself.
Never loved my fellow men,
Not at all.
A walking corpse,
Awaiting an inevitable doom.
All these and more, I once was
Until I met someone.
Someone so special,
Someone so radiant,
Someone so elegant,
Someone so caring,
Someone who so much loves me!
Who exchanged his life with dead mine
Giving me a brand new start.
He took me from the miry clay
To set me on a solid dais
Now I'm a new man, a born again
It's not of my making, but by grace.
Oh, sweet Jesus
Thou art my hearthrob
And I'm forever yours…
Indeed I'm in love, are you?
