Ambidextrous Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Ambidextrous

With their left hand over there.
Doing something completely different.
And the right hand,
Observed to be noticed...
Doing what others with two hands,
Claim they can not do.
How would you define people like this?

"Lazy complainers and attention seekers.
Accusation makers.
And takers from others all they can get."

No. Not those people.
I already know them to be 'ambidextrous'.
I've heard them whine and complain.
About nothing done by others,
Who could no more for them.
Than they could be doing for themselves.
But do not.
And do that at the same time,
While sitting around passing judgement.
I'm talking about those people,
Capable to use each hand...
Whether the right or the left one,
Equally.
To accomplish something to get done.
As if not to think about it.

"Oh.
Them I would call,
Determined, disciplined.
And motivated by incentive."
