America, A New Season Against Racism And Bigotry Is Here

America, Americans, Citizens of the world
This is a brand new season against racism and bigotry
This is a different time against injustice and cruelty
America, brothers and sisters of our world
We can't breathe, we can't breathe, we can't breathe
For eight minutes and forty six seconds, for almost
Nine long minutes. We can't breathe. We want to live
No breath means death. We are dying the metal post
We can't breathe. We want a brand new season
This is spring in the East. The sun is hot and bright
Take off your hats. This is indeed a new revolution
From the third verse of Genesis: ‘Let there be light'
We can't breathe. We must cross the new horizon
We shall protest. We shall overcome. We must fight
To reach the mountain top. Spring is a new season
We must protest nonviolently. Yes, we're indeed right
Citizens of the world, this is a brand new revolution
We must defeat racism and bigotry. We must unite
To eradicate the ills and the viruses of our great society
We can't breathe. We must win the battle against bigotry
Police brutalities, greed, lies, corruption, deceit, and cruelty.

P.S. This poem is dedicated to Brother George Floyd and the myriad of victims of police brutalities.
