Among -Buddhist - Monks Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

How beautiful
calm and serene
to lie so flat
and listen to
the prayerful
songs of the
monks and to see
the color of the
saffron dress.

Youknow
they really pray
to a God
who has no religion.

So they will never
be fanatics.

That is the beauty
which I enjoy always.

I love such prayers
to a God who is not
the monopoly
of any religion.
