Among Them Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Among Them

Livestock,
Property,
To settle among them;
But out of the gate of the city came my lover.
Ought, bought, fought, thought, nought;
My heart longs for your sweet love,
And i am ready to pay the bride price.
Drought, brought, wrought;
To settle among them with the peace of my mind,
For i have livestock and property!
And i am ready to pay for your bride price.
