An Ample Proof Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

An Ample Proof

I have nothing to curse
But feel bad of course
I run from pillar to post
As I am unable to meet the medical cost

No one has time to hear me appeal
I have knocked each door in real
No one has come forward
What should I express in words?

I have come to capital city
With heavy heart as needy
Some of the media people have taken note of my plight?
My appeal is aired and help is sought

What a miracle I witness as mother!
The people are kind enough to offer
The help that was badly needed for daughter

How many poor and needy shall be suffering?
With slight thought in mind, I get shivering
It makes me to wonder about kind hearted people
“The God has given proof” the fact is ample
