An Ancient Agreed Upon Dust Code Accord Poem by Terence George Craddock

An Ancient Agreed Upon Dust Code Accord

in the mist lost in mounting panic
lost in mind fog imagination panic
it is possible to turn a normal dog
into a mad dog coming out of fear fog
strangely wild animals are more tame
curious less afraid in mist in the wild
animal sight is keen nose smell scent lame
useless in wet sodden mist animal turns mild

for some strange reason
heavy mist water vapour
changes animal behaviour
not seen at a prey distance
we meet as sudden equals
in blanket mist squeeze in

as if some ancient agreed upon dust code accord
binds animals humans in concordant settlement
an entente treaty vouchsafe written into fog mist
an harmonious consent in status yield recognition
a grant right all hoof paw hand may in safety pass
a concord protocol all may safety pass in fog mist
