An Authority Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

An Authority

Chairs - straight-backed, standing rigidly,
feet solidly upon the floor, awaiting people
to come sit and be slightly comfortable.
Darkened ebony and brown, eluding to an
authority lying beyond the doors.
