An Autumn Walk With God
I took an autumn walk with God
One cool October day
The colors, smells and images
Were more than I could say.
But I wanted this day to thank Him
For all He's done for us
He kept in mind the joys we'd find
For with each season He made a fuss.
I talked to Him as though he were
Standing by my side
For He is such a friend to me
I could not forget him if I tried.
Each month He gave such thought
To make it unique and fine
He was always there as He was now
This autumn walk with God so divine!
