A teen adopts her siblings
To keep the family together.
Never anticipating the struggles
Of potential-stormy weather.
She placed her life on hold
That she could see them through.
And she did her very best
With her four-sibling crew.
‘Twas such a responsibility.
And what a price to pay
At a very early age.
But she’d have it no other way.
