An Ear In Need Poem by Madrason .

An Ear In Need

Someone asked me to laugh at the end of the line
I did for I couldn't understand why her demand was fine
she said now you stop laughing Bill for I want to die
so I told her it wasn‘t really laughing -a small lie-
I wouldn't want to bury a wounded bird alive
of course I wanted something in her to survive
; someone asked me to laugh at the end of the line
I did, for I couldn't understand why her demand was fine! M
