An Endless Cycle Poem by Tiffani Williams

An Endless Cycle

An endless cycle
fix my wounds, hold me up
make me fall into an abyssal love
break me down and when I'm shattered
Fix my wounds hold me up,
pick me up I can once again fall in love
watch me crash, watch me burn.
in my own mistakes,
fix my wounds, raise me up,
so my fatal fall will deeper
trip me, watch me as I fall
through broken promises with shattered sharp as glass dreams
at the bottom
watch me fly through broken whispered promises of a forever.
that end's so very fast
watch me hit the end
my dreams stabbing me deep within
watch my metaphorfic blood flow
on my denial dress,
you always said I looked better in red
Am I enough yet?
One more round, yet again
Mend every wound you possibly can
Break me down,
As I fall back into this hopeless abyssal love
Add daggers at the bottom
of trying too much
along with all else
watch me crash, watch me burn
bleed and hardly breath
except I don't get up
from falling in love
I die in it,
so deep within,
You stare choking on your alibis,
as if I hear them,
an end to your endless cycle
