Lately,
There is something I have begun to notice.
I don't know about you,
But...
Doesn't it seem as if,
One idiot has made us all believe...
We have chosen to become fools.
And there was a time,
When no fool would admit they were one.
To have no reason to think of an idiot,
As one who would be picked to sit...
In a position of leadership.
And so many are accepting this as progress.
These days have got to be those days,
Of true enlightenment.
Because this depiction is not based on fiction.
This reality is so ridiculous,
Even the probability of it ever being true...
Could be likened to a clown,
Found as the only choice people can make...
To not just represent them and their beliefs.
But also present that as an image to follow as well.

"Are you nuts? "

-Hmmm...gee...
Which is more beneficial these days?
Being nuts or a fool.
Or pretending I am considering becoming crazed.
Because it seems,
The idiots have risen to unbelievable heights.-

"Well, if you decide you are unsatisfied,
By the decision you make.
Check us out.
We are creating the 'Nuts Are Us' political party.
And so far we have overwhelming support."

-I am going to pass this time.
