An Intense Permeating Energy Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

An intense energy is continually permeating this poetical
being, giving fluid reminders of a life filled with the
exacting and precise hopes of this world.

Holding onto all the carvings that have been etched in this
heart, their scars all memories of love and loss, yet somehow
keep on going forward.

Living in the emptiness and loneliness that's left over from
our loved one's passing, touching and forgiving the many
moments of anger throughout the years.

Shrugging them off, not wanting to remember them because the
sorrow and sadness will continue repeating in echoes of yes-
terday that's better forgotten.

It's better that way so one can keep on living with hope and
faith in this very temporary world of ours, touching upon the
efforts and challenges that continue to take us into and
around memories that don't want to leave, even though we want
to escape them.
