An Invisible Bond Poem by Ruta Mohapatra

An Invisible Bond

Rating: 5.0

I have usurped a little space
In one corner of his mind
That is all I ever wanted
He is free to ride the wind

Each day for a few moments
I occupy that space
I have never really understood
Why he bears it with grace

Years have passed and things have changed
The space remains my own
He has never tried to take it back
For an invisible bond has grown
