Ambition Poem by Ruta Mohapatra

There are dreams and there are nightmares.
One can do nothing about them.
They come and go at their own free will.

The mind has its own way.
Try to put thoughts away
And they have a way of slipping back in!

Then there is the heart,
Tell it to feel something and see!
It will just shut the door on your face

And slip through the same door
To be at someone's side:
Someone it has chosen on its own!

And we try to conquer the world!
