An Ode To The Rain Poem by Walterrean Salley

An Ode To The Rain

Rating: 5.0

Grey skies blanket the day;
Must be rain on the way.

Clouds assemble all around.
Gusting winds. Swooshing sound.

Heaven opens, rain pours down.
'Ahhh, ' sighs the thirsty ground.
