An Old Portrayal Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

An Old Portrayal

An old portrayal reveals
The truth of the humanity,
I stare at it
For a long long time,
Someone asks me from within,
'Are you sure? '
I just whisper to myself,
'Yes, '
Soon a new image flashes
In my imaginative realm,
This creates a promising furore
In my tranquil soul,
I realise this is the right time for me
To introspect myself,
Which is essential
To conclude the all-important ambience.
