An Uber Is A Sort Of A Cab

My French-English
says 'upériser' means 'uperize'.
There is no 'uperize' in my memory banks,
nor in my Chambers,
nor in my English to French.
So, what can 'uperize' mean?

Could 'He uperized me'
be 'He pulled a fast one on me'?
Could 'I've been uperized'
mean 'I've been had'?
An uper could be a sort of a cad.
