Ancient Oceans Poem by jodde taylor

Ancient Oceans

Rating: 5.0

Oh carry me away,
where light,
brightens a dark day,
waters furthest reach,
find me again.

Deep oceans,
let your currents,
find an empty shell,
bring a starry night,
to fill praises of hope.

Lift horizons,
near and far,
where trouble lurks,
within cages,
of broken wings.

Let flight,
take hold, and away,
with all winding winds,
travel to a mending sea.

Where trembling fears,
have flourished,
take the hands of innocence,
wash away, their aches,
let no tear fall,
to all ancient causes.

One far transcendence,
of deepest blue,
awaken, dawns of ignorance,
only to be swept away,
shall each heart,
stand tall,
above the grounds of ruin.

Of all stories,
let glory rain,
in domains of enhancement,
bringing a golden inheritance,
let ancient seas,
move with wild clarity,
rising in majesty....
