I had to come back to this poem cause it's been haunting me since I read it. The lines 'you stood outside my heart', are so good and describe perfectly the behaviour prior to actually leaping into the unknown. I love it! In fact I'm adding it to my favourites... HG: -) xx

Those last lines are astoundingly good! I do understand how one can be scared to death by love, its magnitude can overpower us and overwhelm us to the point that resistance isn't any option.... Brilliantly put Donall. HG: -) xx p.s. I listened to your reading of poetry, it was lovely. xx

...to climb over one's silence is a good start of a meeting, a wonderful start of a poem and a very good metaphor... the one standing just outside the other one's heart (just before to enter it) ... chronicle of an affair from the viewpoint of the heart, part 1 :)
