Angel Of My Eye Poem by Adrian Antique

Angel Of My Eye

we threw pebbles at the edge of a pond
creating whirlpools with our own magic wand.
a tiny piece of rock lying on the sand
turned into a star in the palm of your hand.
is this a dream or something else..
you're here it seems yet somewhere else -
don't disappear
into the wide open sky
and take the light away from me
i'm on my own
but not alone
i have your wings and i can fly -
angel of my eye.
sometime ago it was dark and i was blind..
then came this ember, a spark of some kind -
it was you drawing colors i could find...
painting pictures of heaven in my mind.
like the eagles in the sky
i'm not afraid.. it's not a lie
i don't know why
is this goodbye
i have your flame, i'm on fire -
angel of my eye.
