Angels Into Demons (No Love) Poem by Adams King

Angels Into Demons (No Love)

Rating: 2.5

Like a rusted iron they wane and wash
A garter snake that sheds its entire skin
They sell good heart to buy evil ones

Upon the once smooth surface of love
You crafted your crooked roads
And dug your deceitful damps

Who is to be blame for your changes
For your devilish metamorphosis
Nor your demonic transformation

What is to be done when men switch play
When beneath every beautiful face
Resides the most ugliest beast

The sweet souls has turned sour
The roses are withered and gone
There's no love in any man's heart

It's gone faraway beyond sight and reach
Beyond the distance any feet could go
What's left are reflections and shadows

You will chase but you will never catch
You will seek but you will never find
A man with a heart of impeccable love

Seeing is not believing in this world of ours
What you saw never existed here
They are but a painted desirable imagination

A temporary paradise which slowly fades
Into the most tormentous hell
Where men regret ever falling in love

There the communion are been served
With bread broken to make the heart bitter
Oaths taken to make men mourn and weep

A broken heart must break another
To keep the circles of revenge rolling
And inflict a demise in the value of love

Men will woo you with words and wealth
And charm you with the most gentle smile
But beneath an evil sarcastic intention

Be warned all you with the heart of love
That's if anyone still exists in this world
For the angels have turned into demons
