Would there have been a paradise Eden
Or would it have been God's own garden
Would there have been a tree at the middle
Or a fruit from the tree called evil
Would it had been a man made of a man's bone
Or would Adam had exclaimed, bone of my bone!
Would she had been called man's own helper
Or as an antagonist, man's own contender
Would they have had sons called Abel and Cain
Or would God have placed the childbirth pains
Would there have been an apple for man to be tempted
Or would the serpent find another means to be crafted
Would it had been Adam's curse to till the earth
Or would he feed another man from his sweat
Would they have been generations born and raised
If only Eve had been a man from the early days
God who made Eve a woman made her so to be
To make a man happy and also boredom free
Why have men in carnal recreation grew to live
To make Eve a man and make a man out of Eve
1 – I HAD TO read this after seeing the title! And WASN'T " she" ? ? lines 5 & 7: had or have? lines 2 & 10: mean what? line 12: crafted? i think maybe crafty lines 13 & 14 seem 'the same' to me
