Anger: Check The Trigger Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

Anger: Check The Trigger

Rating: 5.0

Anger, anger
check the trigger
points of difference
very often linger
points of conflict
very often occur
when you try to justify your stand
you raise your pitch of voice
there lies the danger
that is the prelude to anger
talk rational
with a set point of volume of voice
that is the 'Laxman rekha'
the pitch of voice
reiterates insistence
opponent perceives as your ego
opponent dislikes aggressiveness
humility never weakens your position
listen...and then talk
as the pitch increases
venom of anger sprinkles in air
digging out the past complaints
which were otherwise dormant
if somebody records a video
of your angry talks
and shows after everything cools
you could have learnt your mistake
but that is not feasible;
hence control the pitch of voice
that's the beginning of anger
which is easy to control
beware of this trigger.

This is a brilliant poem excellently penned. Anger is the point of trigger and conflict. From conflict also anger arises. Aggressiveness is disliked by many and ego hurts others and no one likes if the man is in proud and aggressiveness. Human behaviour should be pleasing and attitudes should be positive and moral. If anger comes, a person should control it with his self controlling power....10
