Anger Rules Poem by Paul Warren

Anger Rules

Anger wants to rule the day
A companion that will work to stay
Wanting its way even more
Scheming for what is in store

And what is right or wrong
Is a point of view so strong
For what you believe is the test
Knowing your truth is the best

So do you keep it to yourself
Not letting others know the wealth
Of anger down deep inside
Remembering and not letting it slide

But forgive that which has wronged you
For your health and what you do
To remember what angered you
Tucked away and buried too.
