Anger's Folly Poem by michael Smajda

Anger's Folly

Rating: 5.0

"Thou shall love thy neighbor as thy self."
"Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's goods."
Shamefully, two of God's Commandments
Ignored by today's rioting hoods.

They can kill the farmer's animals
And torch the farmer's field in flames,
But how many of them will survive
The wrath of winter's hunger games?

An incisive and insightful write. Poignant yet so very true. A well conveyed and crafted write.
