Ankomeah Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Ankomeah

Out of the royal bounty and out of peace,
Cling unto love to swing with the muse;
But be careful about life at times with,
Apes and peacocks as the signature tune.

Ankomeah, i desired your love but you left me lonely;
But King Solomon had 700 royal wives and 300 concubines.
Oh Queen Tahpenes, do extend my regards to Ankomeah;
And do lift up your staff and stretch it out over the Red Sea,
For my lover had left me in the cold.

Life is like to gather stubble to use for straw,
Of a pillar of cloud dy day and a pillar of fire by night;
I am now drowed in the Red sea of love because,
Ankomeah had left me in the cold.
